This pricing system, which has also caused controversy for other major artists like Taylor Swift and Beyoncé, is angering concertgoers who feel the music industry is pricing out fans.

Lady Gaga’s fans outrage at Ticketmaster prices

While Lady Gaga's MAYHEM is a hit among critics and fans, The MAYHEM Ball tour ticket prices, not so much. Little Monsters have expressed their disagreement with the dynamic prices set by Ticketmaster, a subsidiary of Live Nation Entertainment.

Tickets for Lady Gaga's latest tour, have already reached the price of $1,770 for some shows, and that's without considering additional fees making them cost even more.

What is dynamic pricing?

The dynamic pricing system allows ticket prices to vary according to demand. This has been a growing frustration for fans because once a show goes on sale, prices increase in real time as demand grows. While this is supposed to reflect demands, it makes it very easy to enable scalpers, bots, and resellers to inflate prices to impossible levels.

An example of this is Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour tickets which were reported to range between $11,000 to $22,500 in some cases; which left many fans disappointed for not being able to afford it.
