Fans of Taylor Swift are buzzing after an Instagram post from Universal Music Group Sweden sparked rumors of new music from the pop star. While the post was swiftly deleted, the comments made by DJ Jacob Criborn of Nause about working with Swedish composer Erik Arvinder hinted at potential new tracks on the horizon.

Swifties are eagerly speculating whether this means new material from the singer, possibly her 12th studio album or a new version of "Reputation (Taylor's Version)".

The deleted post that sparked Taylor Swift music speculation

In a now deleted clip, Universal Music Group Sweden shared a video in which appeared DJ Jacob Criborn, who discussed the production of his “Canelloni Macaroni” remix.

During the video, they mentioned how Arvinder had worked on the orchestral arrangements for 25, and they were preparing to wrap up Taylor Swift's project before jumping into the next record. "We're just going to finish Taylor Swift's record, and then we'll jump on 'Canelloni.'"

Swifties quickly realize the slip up and took to social media to express their excitement.

Universal Music Group Sweden's reaction to the Taylor Swift comment

Even after Universal Music Group Sweden deleted the post, fans had already downloaded the clip and post it in social media. The swiftie community is speculating whether this means they are getting a new album, a re-release of "Reputation" or another "Taylor's version".

The theory of a new album is plausible as Erik Arvinder has worked with top artists across genres, including Lady Gaga, Harry Styles, and Ariana Grande and their collaborations have led to many successful chart-toppers.
