Netflix has announced that the popular series will wrap up with a feature film based on the upcoming sixth volume of "Heartstopper" by creator Alice Oseman.
This movie will serve as the grand finale of the series, bringing the love story of Nick and Charlie to its conclusion.

The streaming platform announced with fans on social media that Heartstopper's final chapter will not continue as a TV show, but instead will turn into a movie. “Heartstopper will return, bigger than ever,” the streamer posted on X.

While the movie will continue where the third season left off, Kit Connor and Joe Locke will not only reprise their roles as Nick and Charlie, the movie will also see them as executive producers.
Alice Oseman’s vision for the Heartstopper movie
Alice Oseman is the author of the Hearstopper story, and already has written the script for the movie, which will be directed by "Still Alice" director, Wash Westmoreland. "I cannot wait to bring this story to a magical conclusion,” said Oseman in a statement.
