Pedro Pascal has taken a strong stand against author J.K. Rowling following the UK Supreme Court ruling on gender. In an Instagram comment, Pascal referred to Rowling as a "heinous loser," expressing his disagreement with the controversial stance taken by the author in the ongoing gender debate.

This marks the latest in a series of public statements from Pascal, an advocate for LGBTQ+ rights.

Pedro Pascal’s bold statement against J.K. Rowling

Pedro Pascal has been an active supporter of the LGBTQ+ community and in a reel posted by activist Tariq Ra’ouf, where the latter called for a boycott of J.K. Rowling's works; Pascal voiced his support of the sentiment calling Rowling's stance "heinous loser behavior."

Pascal's actions align with his support of the Trans community, as the "Last of Us" actor is often seen attending public events with his transgender sister, Lux. This weekend, he showed up to the Marvel's "Thunderbolts" premiere with a T-shirt with the phrase “Protect the Dolls”. "Dolls" is the name transgender women have among the LGBTQ+ community.

The controversial ruling: U.K. Supreme Court's gender decision

The UK Supreme Court ruled that the terms “woman” and “sex” in the Equality Act should refer to a biological woman and biological sex. J.K. Rowling celebrated the success of the case filed by "For Women Scotland" on a post on X, with a drink and a cigar, and would later thank the campaign group for their work in a later post.
