Who's hosting, and who will be the next musical guest on 'SNL'?
Quinta Brunson, actress and comedian, will host SNL on May 3 for her second time. The 35-year-old made history at the 74th Primetime Emmy Awards in 2022 as the first Black woman to land three nominations in the comedy category.
Brunson made history at the 75th Emmy Awards, becoming the first Black woman to win Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy in over 40 years. In 2023, she received the Peabody Trailblazer Award, recognizing her contributions toward education and the sitcom genre.
Moreover, Benson Boone, a Grammy-nominated artist who will serve as the musical guest on SNL on May 3 for his first time. The 22-year-old singer, known for “Beautiful Things,” appeared on American Idol in 2021.
Boone released his debut album, Fireworks & Rollerblades, in April 2024. He was awarded the opportunity to perform in front of over 50,000 fans at the 2024 Coachella Festival.
When the last episode of 'SNL' season 50 will be?
SNL's 50th season will wrap up with three final episodes on May 3, 10, and 17.
For the season finale, Scarlett Johansson returns to host, joined by her husband and Weekend Update co-host Colin Jost, on May 17. They will welcome back musical guest Bad Bunny, who has previously appeared on SNL three times, performing, hosting, and making cameo appearances.
