Diddy trial: former assistant alleges threats and industry blackballing
Capricorn Clark, ex-assistant to Sean “Diddy” Combs, testifies about threats and retaliation allegedly aimed to block her music industry career after a fallout.

During testimony in Sean “Diddy” Combs’ trial, on May 27, Capricorn Clark spoke emotionally about alleged threats and retaliation that affected her career after being fired in 2012.
Clark worked for Combs as a personal assistant and other various roles from 2004 to 2012.
'Diddy' Combs attempt to blackmail Capricorn Clark
In her testimony, Clark described she had a hard time looking for a job after she was fired over a vacation issue; which she insinuated was related to the fact that she told the President of Bad Boy Records, Harve Pierre, about Combs allegedly kidnapping her to threaten Kid Cudi over his relationship with Cassie Ventura Fine.
She recalled that when she met with Jimmy Iovine, co-founder of Interscope Records and Beats Electronics, for what she thought was a job opportunity, the businessman just gave her a warning on Combs' behalf. "They were there to tell me to leave Puff alone and that this wasn’t going to end well for me," Clark stated.
Diddy's defense challenges Clark’s credibility
Marc Agnofilo, a lawyer from Combs' team, tried to cast doubt on Clark's testimony, presenting text messages between Combs and his former assistant.
In the text messages, she mentioned having "dope chemistry" and having the "biggest crush" on Combs before she worked for him. However, she denies remembering the message.
