Trump treats Musk about funding Democratic candidates: "He’ll have to pay the consequences for that"
Tension between Trump and Musk escalates following their exchanges on social networks

President Donald Trump talked on Saturday about what will happen if Elon Musk funds Democratic candidates running against the GOP's sweeping budget bill. He did not mention what those consequences might be.
The declarations came after they exchanged remarks on X and Truth Social, their own social network platforms. Musk is openly opposed to the GOP spending bill that the White House passed last month. For Trump, the feud has made lawmakers see the good benefits of the bill.
A strong No to repair their relationship
NBC News asked the President if he had any wish to resume his relationship with the South African mogul. Trump said with a firm "No," without saying another word. He also said that their bond is over and added that he is too busy to speak with Musk.
“I think it’s a very bad thing, because he’s very disrespectful. You could not disrespect the office of the President,” Trump said. Days before, the president told reporters that he is "very disappointed because Elon knew the inner workings of this bill. I’m very disappointed in Elon. I’ve helped Elon a lot."

What did Trump say about Musk accusation on Epstein case?
On the social media feud, Elon Musk said that the President is on the unveiled list of the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. Trump was asked about it, saying that it is old news. He affirmed that Epstein's lawyer said that the President is not involved in the case.
Trump was also asked if he is going to cancel Musk's companies' federal contracts. “I’d be allowed to do that, but I haven’t given it any thought,” he said. At least, he also responded to calls from Steve Bannon to investigate Musk's immigration status, saying that it is not a priority for him.
