New wave of Iranian missiles targets Israel in latest Middle East escalation
The Israel Defense Forces just announced that a new ground-to-ground missile attack is underway in central Iran.

A few minutes ago, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced that they are attacking central Iran with ground-to-ground missiles. "The Air Force is currently attacking surface-to-surface missile sites in central Iran," they commented in a post on their X account.
Likewise, a widespread alert was issued, which had been previously announced before the attacks. This message was given as a precautionary warning to citizens to remain in a protected shelter following rumors of a missile launch from Iran.
Israel intercepts 100 Iranian drones as airstrikes enter fourth day of escalation
These attacks come after the Israeli Navy and Air Force successfully intercepted 100 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) launched from Iran. These were ongoing airstrikes. So far, no drones have been reported as downed in Israel.

These airstrikes are occurring for the fourth consecutive day between the two countries since Israel sent a series of ballistic missiles toward Iran last Thursday. Air defense systems, working in conjunction with missile boats, are operational to eliminate all possible threats.

Iran rejects ceasefire talks until response to Israeli strikes is complete
On the other hand, Iran has informed Qatar and Oman, the mediators of the peace negotiation with Israel, that they are unwilling to negotiate a ceasefire while Israel continues to attack their territory. “The Iranians informed the Qatari and Omani mediators that they will only seek serious negotiations once Iran has completed its response to the Israeli preventive attacks,” commented a government official from that country.
Jonathan Conricus, a former IDF spokesman, commented that Israel is doing everything possible to eradicate any threat it faces. A former IDF spokesman also stated that Israel aims to prevent Tehran, Iran's capital, from obtaining nuclear weapons. The IDF reported that it had killed more than 20 Iranian commanders. Among the victims were the head of the Intelligence Directorate and the commander of Iran's ground-based missile complex. Airstrikes and covert operations were also carried out to destroy infrastructure and high-ranking military bases.
