Actress Anjelica Huston, known for her iconic roles in films like Prizzi's Honor and John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum, has revealed that she battled cancer in private and is now four years "in the clear."

In an interview with People Magazine, the 73-year-old actress discussed the private nature of her diagnosis and the profound impact it had on her outlook on life. Huston shared that while the diagnosis came as a shock, it also made her reassess what truly mattered.

Huston declared she found out about her diagnosis after she participated in the 2019 John Wick movie, but she took the decision to remain out of the public eye while she fought off cancer.

While she did not specify which kind of cancer she had, Huston said the experience taught her to experience life more fully and finding joy in everyday moments.

Four years after her diagnosis, she feels very thankful for her recovery and shares she is now cancer-free. Right now, she's set to star in Agatha Christie’s Towards Zero, which premieres on BritBox on April 16.

Being able to act again and embrace new opportunities is an incredible achievement for Huston. She decided to speak about her journey to encourage others going through the same things. "Life is tenuous and wonderful. It also gives you the idea that the world is big, and you can somehow match up to it. That you're ready for whatever happens".
