Renowned guitarist Carlos Santana was hospitalized Tuesday night after experiencing a medical emergency moments before his performance at the Majestic Theatre in San Antonio, Texas. The news was confirmed by his representative, Michael Vrionis, who stated that the incident was due to dehydration.

Vrionis, president of Universal Tone Management, reported that the performance was postponed for health reasons and as a precautionary measure. Although the situation caused concern among his fans, the musician is recovering and in good spirits, according to an official statement released by People magazine.

The artist is recovering and plans to continue his tour

According to the artist's team, Santana is recovering well and remains committed to continuing his US tour. "He's doing well and hopes to return to San Antonio soon," said Vrionis. The canceled concert will be rescheduled, although a new date has not yet been announced.

This incident follows another incident that occurred months ago, when Santana suffered a fall that caused a broken finger, leading to the temporary postponement of his Las Vegas residency. Despite these setbacks, the musician has reiterated his intention to remain active on stage.

"From the bottom of our hearts, we want to thank you for showing up with such beautiful energy and love in the cold and rain," the message read. They also highlighted the artist's connection with his fans, calling the experience a "true honor."

The statement concluded by highlighting the positive impact the audience had on his performances, despite the adverse weather conditions. The post reflects the musician's gratitude to his fans and his desire to reunite with them soon, once he is fully recovered.
